Allora il primo volume della serie Avalon University è quello che fa per voi!
Io vi consiglio di lasciarvi trascinare dalle pagine, sedetevi comodi e siate pronti a tutto. Perché che in questa università d’élite le cose stanno per surriscaldarsi e niente è impossibile, incluse cose strane e al limite dell’assurdo. Summer lo impererà presto sulla propria pelle, anche quando il suo unico desiderio era quello di passare inosservata e andare avanti per la sua strada.
Una protagonista che si ritrova catapultata tra mura non richieste nè tantomeno desiderate e un passato misterioso dovrà fare presto i conti con una presenza misteriosa che sembra seguirla, mentre tutto intorno a lei inizia a sgretolarsi e a succedere cose inquietanti.
Questi strani avvenimenti sono casuali o hanno a che fare con il suo passato nascosto?
L’università non dovrebbe essere un luogo dove sentirsi al sicuro? Mentre qui Summer si sente più minacciata che mai?
La sua vita ha subito una svolta marcata e profonda, dovrà riconsiderare le sue convinzioni, affrontare realtà scomode e decidere se è meglio imparare a fidarsi degli altri o continuare a fare tutto da sola, rinnegando una parte di sé che non può cambiare. Then the first book in the Avalon University series is for you!
I recommend letting yourself be swept away by the pages, sit back, and be ready for anything. Because at this elite university, things are about to heat up, and nothing is impossible, including strange and borderline absurd things. Summer will soon experience this firsthand, even when her only desire was to go unnoticed and pursue her own path.
A main character who finds herself catapulted between unwanted, much less desired, walls and a mysterious past will soon have to deal with a mysterious presence that seems to follow her, while everything around her begins to crumble and disturbing things begin to happen.
Are these strange events random, or do they have to do with her hidden past?
Isn't university supposed to be a place where one feels safe? While here, Summer feels more threatened than ever?
Her life has undergone a marked and profound change. She will have to reconsider her beliefs, face uncomfortable realities, and decide whether it's better to learn to trust others or continue to do everything alone, denying a part of herself that she can't change. How will she know if opening her heart is a wise move or one that will only cause her to suffer even more?
Blood & Betrayals is a fantasy about challenges, mysteries, struggles, and powers, with supernatural and magical creatures. But it's really about life, about difficult choices, about people who feel wrong in their own skin, about deep roots. It tells us that we are who we are, but we must learn to come to terms with our reality and not allow ourselves to be defined by what we can't control. The choices we make and what we want are truly the most important part of who we are.
