Il libro di cui voglio parlarvi oggi è il sesto autoconclusivo in una saga che conta ad oggi 6 volumi, si tratta di un contemporary romance e un romantic suspense con i controfiocchi!

Per me questo è stato il primo approccio alla scrittura della Ann e devo dire che è stata davvero una magnifica scoperta! È la storia di due persone che hanno perso la strada e/o la speranza, che vanno avanti in modo meccanico, non tanto perché vogliono vivere la vita. Ma è anche la storia di due persone che si incontrano nel modo più inaspettato, imparando che dalla cosa più insignificante, da un effimero secondo, il loro mondo può essere rovesciato e prendere una strada migliore, più luminosa.

 

Tra le pagine di questo libro intraprenderemo un viaggio difficile, costellato da svolte impervie, dolore, tematiche molto delicate (ma trattate in modo molto maturo) e da personaggi messi a nudo. Ma questo si alterna alla maestosità di vedere due persone ritrovarsi, ricostruire se stesse e confidare nuovamente nel prossimo. È un processo di guarigione che fa sperare e che ci testimonia come non bisogna affrontare tutti da soli per forza.

Troviamo anche momenti di felicità, di gioia e ilarità, che rendono il racconto più leggero e scorrevole.

 

Credo che a questo punto sia inutile dire che ci sono state scene che mi hanno commossa, ma sul serio, avrei voluto che i protagonisti uscissero dal libro e diventassero miei amici. Perché Because Of Her regala momenti intensi, passionali, adrenalinici e meravigliosi, momenti che vorresti non finissero mai. E si, ho deciso di recuperare anche gli altri della serie perché sono assolutamente curiosa!

The book I want to talk to you about today is the sixth standalone book in a saga that currently has 6 volumes, it’s a contemporary romance and a romantic suspense!

 

“𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒃𝒆 𝒂 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒉𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒖𝒏𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆.”

 

For me this was the first approach to Ann's writing and I must say that it was truly a magnificent discovery! It is the story of two people who have lost their way and/or hope, who move forward mechanically, not so much because they want to live life. But it is also the story of two people who meet in the most unexpected way, learning that from the most insignificant thing, from an ephemeral second, their world can be turned upside down and take a better, brighter path.

 

In the pages of this book, we will undertake a difficult journey, dotted with difficult turns, pain, very delicate themes (but treated in a very mature way) and characters laid bare. But this alternates with the majesty of seeing two people find each other, rebuild themselves and trust in others again. It is a healing process that gives us hope and shows us that we don't necessarily have to face everyone alone.

We also find moments of happiness, joy and hilarity, which make the story lighter and more flowing.

 

I think at this point it goes without saying that there were scenes that moved me, but seriously, I would have liked the protagonists to leave the book and become my friends. Because Because Of Her offers intense, passionate, adrenaline-filled and wonderful moments, moments that you wish would never end. And yes, I decided to get the others in the series too because I'm absolutely curious!
